After tryout, Steelers sign fast HBCU running back to three-year contract.

After the rookie mini-camp on Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers added another running back. The Steelers found another undrafted gem in running back Jaylen Warren last year.

Another undrafted ball carrier will be given a shot by the team. Alfonzo Graham, a former Morgan State back, tweeted his signing.

Graham, a Baltimore native, has moved about during his football career. In 2016, as a junior, he helped his school win its 10th city championship.

He played for Arizona Western College in Yuma in 2018 and Independence Community College in Kansas in 2019. In autumn 2019, he played for Fullerton College in California.

He entered Morgan State as a walk-on. In 2021, he ran 54 times for 506 yards and 5 touchdowns at 9.4 yards per carry.

He became a Bears legend in his last season. He was the school's first 1,000-yard rusher since 2015 and won the MEAC rushing championship in 2022.

He was selected for the 2023 HBCU Legacy Bowl and Combine. Graham ran five times for 21 yards in the second annual game, but the competition was strong.
